An interesting blog post about the value of interdisciplinary cross-pollination inspired by a recent Il Giornale article about intensive-care doctors in London turning to Ferrari to learn from their pitstop coordination planning. Of course, I'm tempted to think that the surgeons simply wanted to find a professional excuse to contact Ferrari (why not Midland, or Super Aguri?). After all, all F1-obsessed doctors look up to Sid Watkins who did this very successfully almost 30 years ago.
